Final day finals

End of an amazing week and what could we produce, even more success!!
Frankie was first in and in a much better swim than the heat swam a new pb? she swam the race so well and in the closest of finishes she got 4th by 0.07!! Amazing swim Frankie well done at your first nationals!!

Next was Luke, could he complete the set with a Gold? Absolutely he could!! A gutsy swim saw him win the national title and the gold medal in the 100 Bk- another top swim, well done!

Next in was Georgia, after a bronze in the 50 and the 100, the 200 was a special race, being in the mix all the way and turning 6th at the 150m mark, she hammered the last 50m and picked them off one by one to win the silver medal with a new Pb- amazing swim!!

Lisa went into the 50 Fly in a very tough field, swimming a pb she managed to finished 5th in the final, a brilliant start to her hopefully long and successful pathway in performance swimming!

Well done to all of you this evening and to all of you who swam this week.
Last year we came away with just 1 bronze medal at national level, this year we came away with a total of 10 medals consisting of 1 gold, 5 silvers and 4 bronzes, more finalist that finished no lower than 5th position and had representation at British with Gabe.

That improvement is staggering and is all down to the whole squad working together to provide the best platform for each swimmer to fulfil their own potential be it a county time or a national medal.
Thanks to Antony and Rory for all the help and to the parents who have supported us this season, it was an awesome way to end and sign off, now the hard work starts all over again in September
